Welcome - January 2009

Hello for the President!!

By now, I would hope you have had a chance to get outdoors and ride the Amery Snowmobile Club trails. It has been a long fall getting the trails ready to ride, and taking care of the re-routes and problem areas. The volunteers that have completed this task should be thanked over and over!

We are now approaching the time of the year for elections. At our next meeting, February 5th at Wolter’s Shoreview Supper Club, we will open nominations for all officers. I would like to see a large number of club members attend this meeting, and step up to help out. Although you won’t need to run for office, we have a busy year ahead and need more help.

If you have not already, you should be receiving a notice for your Club dues soon. Please renew as soon as you can. We would also like to see new members, so please talk to your friends that ride, and get them to join our club… It takes a large number of members to put together the trails we have, and to maintain them throughout the year.

When you are out on the trail, or walking through town, stop by and talk to the land owners. We need to thank them for their help in making our trail system happen. WITHOUT THE LANDOWNERS, THE BEAUTIFUL TRAILS DISSAPPEAR!!

Think Snow, and Ride safe!
